Ingredients
Scale
1 bottle (750ml) Prosecco, chilled
1 cup green melon liqueur (like Midori)
1/2 cup vodka
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
1/4 cup simple syrup (optional, adjust to taste)
Green food coloring (optional, for deeper color)
Mint sprigs, for garnish
Lime wheels, for garnish
Candy eyeballs or gummy worms, for garnish
Instructions
In a pitcher, combine the green melon liqueur, vodka, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup (if using). Stir well.
If you desire a more intense green color, add a few drops of green food coloring and stir until evenly distributed.
Just before serving, slowly pour in the chilled Prosecco. Stir gently to combine, being careful not to lose the bubbles.
To serve, pour the cocktail into champagne flutes or glasses.
Garnish each glass with a mint sprig, a lime wheel, and candy eyeballs or gummy worms.
For an extra spooky effect, add a small piece of dry ice to the pitcher (handle with care and ensure it fully dissipates before serving).
Notes
Prepare the base mixture (melon liqueur, vodka, lime juice, simple syrup) up to 24 hours in advance and store it in the refrigerator. Add the Prosecco just before serving to maintain fizziness.
Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less simple syrup to your preference.
If you don’t have Prosecco, a dry champagne or other sparkling wine will also work.
For a non-alcoholic version, substitute the Prosecco with lemon-lime soda and omit the vodka and melon liqueur, using a green fruit punch or juice instead.
