Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius). Grease and flour an 8×8 inch baking pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk and eggs until they are fully combined.
  3. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing gently until just combined. Do not overmix the batter.
  5. Pour the batter into your prepared baking pan.
  6. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For an even more flavorful cake, you can substitute 1/4 cup of the flour with finely ground almond flour for added richness.
  • If you want a loaf cake, use a standard loaf pan and adjust the baking time, checking for doneness around 35-40 minutes.
  • This cake is delicious served plain, dusted with powdered sugar, or topped with fresh berries.
