Make the famous Neiman Marcus Dip, also known as Million Dollar Dip. This cold, creamy appetizer combines cheese, bacon, and almonds for a simple, crowd-pleasing snack perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup chopped pecans or sliced almonds
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and mayonnaise until smooth.
  2. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine all ingredients evenly.
  3. Fold in the chopped nuts, crumbled bacon, and sliced green onions. Mix gently to distribute the additions throughout the dip base.
  4. Cover the bowl and chill the dip in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Chilling allows the flavors to blend.
  5. Serve the cold dip with crackers, tortilla chips, or fresh vegetable sticks.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, toast the almonds lightly before adding them to the dip.
  • You can prepare this dip up to 24 hours ahead of time. Store it covered in the refrigerator.
  • If you prefer a slightly tangier flavor, substitute half of the mayonnaise with sour cream.
