  • 1 scoop (30g) vanilla or unflavored protein powder
  • 2 large eggs or 1/2 cup egg whites
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Cooking spray or butter for the pan
  • Optional toppings: fresh berries, sugar-free syrup, Greek yogurt

Instructions

  1. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs (or egg whites), milk, protein powder, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined and smooth.
  2. Dip each slice of bread into the protein mixture, ensuring both sides are coated.
  3. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook the French toast for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Alternatively, for air fryer method: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Lightly spray the basket. Place the coated bread slices in the basket and cook for 5-7 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown.
  6. Serve immediately with your favorite toppings.
