Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cucumber, peeled, seeded, and finely grated
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh mint, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Squeeze excess water from the grated cucumber using a clean kitchen towel or paper towels.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, dill, mint, minced garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil.
  3. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
  4. Season with salt and black pepper to your preference.
  5. For best flavor, cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes

  • Use full-fat Greek yogurt for the creamiest texture.
  • You can substitute dried dill if fresh is unavailable, using about 1 teaspoon.
  • Adjust garlic and lemon juice to your taste.
  • This sauce is best served fresh but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
